TheBig Girl Pill
So, You are probably wondering The Big Girl Pill? What the heck is that? Well its an expression that me and my friends use when we finally break through and react as an adult would instead of reacting to a situation with lets say less than a childs mentality. We tend (yes I group all of girls together so I don't have to pinpoint only me!!) to be amazed at ourselves as we tell our stories of what happened to us and how we reacted with an adult mentality. We just can't believe how the situation didn't upset us and run us into a tizzy, how fear or stress, anger, loss of consiousness didn't rear their ugly heads. A Big Girl Pill? or God's HOLY SPIRIT working in us? We know who supplies us with The Big Girl Pill. Thank God He knows when to send the Holy Spirit as we strive to be more like Him. Thank God he walks and talks with me daily.

So that's what it's called!! I've had that experience, suspecting all along it was the HS, but just didn't know to call it the "Big Girl Pill". And me, a medical transcriptionist!! Thanks for the info! I gotta go take my medicine now.
Hey, come on, Beckster! I'm not sure who you are or if I know your face, but I feel like you have a lot to say, and I'm on the edge of my seat to hear it. You've got my attention. Not that that my attention is any big deal. But I like to know you're out there, and I want you to know you have an audience of at least two. Me and the Lord. I have a feeling there are many more.
I agree with you michele b!!! There is a whole lot of info and wisdome behind this blog and I am still checking daily waiting for that insight!
